Fimbo Butures is an artistic practice between Maya Williams and Lizzy Tan, drawing from their shared backgrounds as contemporary dancers and erotic and performing artists. Fimbo Butures creates experimental online and live work through two research and performance streams: For you: wicked and Bimbo Futures.
For you: wicked merges media, sound design, dance and camming to communicate a provocative haunting of the sex-working, performing body. For you: wicked is our reckoning with our own racialised image(s) and what it means to be ‘NSFW’ when work is not safe. Bimbo Futures responds to the sobering conclusion of ‘Not Safe Work.’ Our Bimbo Futurism considers existence through labour, and all labour as absurd under capitalism.
